CARPACCIO TO CAPORETTO

A tour of Venice and the Italian Front of WW1, which features some of the most spectacular scenery in the Dolomites [as well as many preserved trenches and tunnels etc. around Cortina and Caporetto]. This is a 'Two Cultures' tour, involving art and military history. Isabelle Johnson, a specialist on the Italian Front will be guiding in the mountains, Nicky Bird in Venice.
