Recently we received a letter from the Mayor of Loos inviting us to visit their newly expanded Great War Museum and also to view the battlefield (including the Hohenzollern Redoubt and Hill 70) from the 80 metres high vantage point of the 'Double-Crassier' - two infamous slag heaps. We shall include this visit in a forthcoming Somme tour, based in nearby Arras.
